Building Self-Esteem in Children and Teenagers
Healthy self-esteem is like a child's armor against the challenges of the world. Children and teens who know their strengths and weaknesses and feel good about themselves seem to have an easier time handling conflicts and resisting negative pressures.
This workshop will help you understand the difference between effective and ineffective praise and you will learn how to use the language of encouragement at home and/or in class to raise the self esteem in your children.

About the Speaker
Marie Marchand, B.Ed. parent, teacher, parenting consultant and co-author of bestselling children’s’ book Home from Home has over 25 years of international experience in Early Childhood teaching in Canada, Switzerland and Hong Kong. Marie’s authentic, passionate and engaging style has endeared her to hundreds of parents and teachers from Asian, American, European, mixed cultures and diverse linguistic backgrounds. Her workshops are renowned for her humour, personal examples and practical suggestions leading to immediate positive effect.
